The Xuron 170-II Microshear offers numerous ergonomic enhancements in a “popularly priced” tool. Principal among them is our effort reducing Micro-Shear® cutting action. Their shearing cut requires only about half the effort to cut a wire as that required by a conventional compression type cutter. They have a glare eliminating black finish, are light weight and have our patented Light Touch return spring. Also available with static control (AS) grips.

Cuts soft wire up to 20 AWG (0.8 mm)

A tough 6″ wire cutter featuring our patented Micro-Shear® cutting action. Tough enough for harnesses and cables with the precision to cut material less than 1 mil. thick or work in high density areas.
